2025 Poppy Drive
The 197 Typhoon Squadron Air Cadets will be out in the Acton community for the annual Poppy Drive on Saturday November 1 and Sunday November 2.
The Poppy Drive supports the Acton Legion Branch 197 with their annual Poppy campaign. The Poppy is distributed freely to anyone who wish to wear one.

2025 Gliding Day
The 197 Typhoon Squadron Air Cadets will be participating in Gliding Day at Wingham Airport on Sunday October 12, 2025. Selected cadets will be notified.

2025 Air Cadets Tagging
The 197 RCACS Typhoon Squadron will be tagging on Friday April 25 (6pm – 8pm) and Saturday April 26 (10am -2pm) in Acton at the following locations – Giant Tiger, Sobeys, No Frills, Tim Hortons, Shoppers Drug Mart and Dollarama.

2025 VE Day Service
The 197 RCACS Typhoon Squadron will be participating in a candlelight vigil with Legion Branch 197 Veterans to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe 1945 at the Acton Cenotaph on Thursday May 8, 2025.

2025 Toronto Pearson Visit
The 197 RCACS Typhoon Squadron will be visiting Toronto Pearson’s Air Canada Maintenance Facility, the Air Canada Operation Centre in Terminal 1 and the South Fire Hall on Saturday April 5.
The squadron will also have a short stop at Avworld Canada, an aviation hobby store for industry supplies, simulator gear, models, books, gifts and apparel.
Transportation and lunch will be provided.
