Important: Do not iron on, glue or tape on, or make permanent any cresting as it will need to be removed and / or moved over time. Depending on how fast you grow you will need to transfer your crests to ever larger uniform parts, as well depending on your achievements the crests will change over time.

Rank Insignia: Rank Badges are to be worn centred on both sleeves, mid-way between the elbow and the shoulder upper seam.

Proficiency Levels 1-5:
Proficiency Badges: These badges are to be worn centred on the left sleeve of the jacket, the bottom of the badge immediately above the top of the cuff. If an Air Cadet Fitness Program Badge, a Marksmanship Classification Badge and/or a Glider Pilot Familiarization Badge is worn, the Squadron Proficiency Level Badge is worn 1cm above the Fitness Program, Marksmanship Classification and/or Glider Pilot Familiarization Badge(s). Only the most senior badge is worn.

Pilot Wings:
Pilot Wings: The Pilot Wings are to be worn centred , 0.5 cm above medal ribbons on the left breast pocket. If no medal ribbons are worn, wings shall be centred and placed immediately above the left breast pocket.

NOTE: If a cadet successfully completes both Scholarships, only the Power Pilot Wings shall be worn. The Glider Pilot Scholarship Qualification Badge shall then be worn with the other Summer Courses Qualification Badges.

Marksmanship:
Marksmanship Badges: These badges are to be worn centred on the left sleeve. The bottom of the badge to be positioned immediately above the top of the cuff. Only the badge for the highest level attained shall be worn.

Physical Fitness:
Physical Fitness Badges: These badges are to be worn centred on the left sleeve. The bottom of the badge to be positioned immediately above the top of the cuff. Only the badge for the highest level attained shall be worn.

Glider Familiarization:
Glider Familiarization Badges: These badges are to be worn centred on the left sleeve, the bottom of the badge to be positioned immediately above the top of the cuff. Only the badge for the highest level attained shall be worn.

NOTE: The Air Cadet Fitness Programme Badge, the Marksmanship Classification Badge and also the Glider Pilot Familiarization Badge shall be worn on the left sleeve in the order that they are awarded. The first badge awarded is centred immediately above the cuff of the uniform jacket. The second badge awarded is placed immediately to the left of the first badge, to the front of the sleeve. The third badge awarded is placed immediately to the right of the first badge, to the rear of the sleeve.

Music:
Music Appointment Badges: These badges are to be worn centred on the left sleeve of the jacket, the bottom of the badge immediately above the top of the cuff.

Music Proficiency Levels: These badges are to be worn centred on the left sleeve with the bottom of the badge positioned immediately above the top of the cuff. Only the badge for the highest level attained shall be worn.

First Aid:
First Aid Badges: To be centred on the right sleeve, the bottom of the badge 1cm above the top of the cuff. If Summer Courses Qualification Badges are worn, the First Aid Badge shall be centred on the right sleeve, the bottom of the badge 1cm above the Summer Courses Qualification Badges.

Summer Training Qualifications:
Summer Course Qualification Badges shall be worn on the right sleeve in the order that they are awarded. The first badge is centred immediately above the cuff of the uniform jacket. The second badge awarded is placed immediately to the right of the first badge, to the front of the sleeve. The third is placed immediately to the left of the first badge, to the rear of the sleeve. The fourth, fifth and sixth badges are placed immediately above badges one, two and three forming a second row of badges and they are placed in the same order as the first row. If a seventh badge is awarded, it shall be placed immediately over the fourth badge. A maximum of seven Summer Course Qualification Badges may be worn.
